These terms apply to the Civora Advisory website and publicly available materials. A signed client or Academy agreement controls if it conflicts with these website terms.
1. About Civora
Vertex Edge LLC operates Civora Advisory. Civora provides privacy and AI governance advisory services, assessments, professional education and informational publications.
2. Informational content, not legal advice
Website content, Privacy Pulse publications, demonstrations, templates and automated outputs are provided for general informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute legal advice, create an attorney-client relationship or replace advice from qualified legal, security, technical or other professionals.
3. Assessments and demonstrations
Public demonstrations use fictional or generalized information and provide illustrative results only. Assessment findings depend on the scope, evidence, assumptions and information supplied. Civora does not certify regulatory compliance or guarantee that an organization is free from legal, privacy, security or AI-governance risk.
Do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential business records, credentials, regulated data or security evidence through a public demonstration or general website form.
4. Academy and educational programs
Academy content is educational. Participation does not guarantee employment, certification, compensation, promotion or a particular professional outcome. Tuition, payment, attendance, cancellation and refund terms will be stated in the applicable enrollment agreement.
5. Advisory engagements
Advisory work begins only after the parties agree to a written scope or engagement agreement. Engagement-specific deliverables, fees, confidentiality, data handling, responsibilities and limitations are governed by that agreement.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to bypass security controls, interfere with the website, submit malicious code, scrape the website in a way that disrupts service, impersonate another person or use Civora materials to misrepresent your qualifications or work.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website, branding, assessment structures, graphics, publications, educational materials and original content belong to Vertex Edge LLC or its licensors. You may link to publicly available pages and make reasonable personal use of public content, but you may not reproduce, sell, publish or create commercial derivative materials without written permission.
8. Third-party services and links
The website may link to services such as Brevo, Calendly, LinkedIn, YouTube and other third-party platforms. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. Civora is not responsible for third-party availability, content or practices.
9. No warranties
The website and public materials are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Civora disclaims warranties that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Vertex Edge LLC and Civora Advisory will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from reliance on public website content or inability to access the website. Engagement-specific liability terms are addressed in the applicable written agreement.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. By submitting information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you have authority to provide it.
